Starting Fitness

Hi Everyone,

This is the introduction to the Starting Fitness section on my website, within this section I will be giving you advice and information to start your fitness journey with reduced difficulty (there will always be roadblocks) and in a more effective way. Whether it’s in the kitchen, gym or other forms of fitness such as sport specific training. I will be giving you guys the information you need that I have acquired from experience as well as knowledge I have learned from extensive self learning. This in turn will help you to get your fitness journey started on the right foot. Here is a quick outline for each section of Starting Fitness that I will be covering:

Nutrition:

The foundation of any fitness journey starts with a solid nutrition program, whether your trying to get rid of extra fat, build muscle or simply maintain and enhance a healthy lifestyle it all starts with nutrition. Topics that will be covered in this section include:

  • Fundamentals of Nutrition
  • Nutrition Relative to Your Goals
  • Achieving a Sustainable Nutrition Plan

Weight/Resistance Training:

Once you have your nutrition in place the gym becomes a very important aspect of fitness. This is what will take all your hard work in the kitchen and enhance your results as well as help achieve your goals when it comes to your physique. Topics that will be covered in this section include:

  • Fundamentals of Training
  • Training Relative to Your Goals
  • Sustainable Training

Training For a Specific Sport:

Although training for a specific sport may be apart of your goals already, this type of training may encompass more then just resistance training. This could include, agility, speed, power etc. Topics that will be covered in this section include:

  • Fundamentals of Sport Specific Training
  • Training Relative to Your Sport
  • Progression 0f Training
